ResolutionsI have made not one but thirteen resolutions for 2013.

  1. Reconnect with a friend I have lost touch with
  2. Learn a song in a language I don’t know
  3. Read one children’s book this year
  4. Once a month walk in the woods and listen to the birds
  5. Watch a flower bloom in the wilderness
  6. Get over a fear I have – in small doses
  7. Write a love note for someone I care for
  8. Teach someone how to read
  9. Learn a skill from someone who is less than 13 years old
  10. Find something to laugh about every day. Then make someone smile by sharing it.
  11. Watch a movie (without subtitles) in a language I do not know
  12. Walk in the rain
  13. Speak up and act when I see anyone being treated unfairly (This one is for you Nirbhaya)

  1. 1. Teach Physics and Mathematics to at least one student with the same care and attention which I got while I was studying in school. All for free.2. Take writing more seriously – devote a few hours every week.3. Continue with the kriya every morning, which I discontinued last year4. Attempt to meet at least one new person each week.5. Speak to at least one friend each day(esp the ones whom I lost while chasing the mirage)6. Manage my accounts more closely.7. Use public transport whenever it is possible.8. Carry lunchbox at work :), reduce the outside food.9. Make sure to visit hometown at least thrice this year.10. Visit a new country, apart from the ones where work takes me.11. Convince a parent that being an Engineer or Doctor is not the only career option in this age.12. Search for an options to teach and interact with college students.13. Encourage my teammates to take more decision each day, and replace me sooner than I believe 🙂

  3. I can’t make 13 resolutions and then keep them. I make resolution only when I can make them come true. Here is my list for 2013:1.Do what I want to do, what makes me happy and not what people tell me to do.2.Change job so that I can set my priorities in life2.Take up writing seriously4.Find a long lost friend5.Quit some of my bad habits which I have been meaning to quit6. Close some of my loans7. Donate to charity at least once a year8. Take a holiday alone with myself as company9. Take LESS stress

Be confident & healthy9. Remain calm and handle situations maturely10. Click lots of pictures of people & places11. Write often12. Learn to cook tasty meals @ microwave13.
